Owl Docs Stamp is a smart contract based on Ethereum Blockchain network, decentralizing the audit process for all events, including documents sending. The solution provides, in real-time, a permanent and immutable record of government and enterprise data. All this in a transparent and automatic way, guaranteeing the integrity, authenticity and proof of existence of the event based on the Legal Timestamp.
Blockchain is a distributed database that maintains a list of ordered records called blocks. Each block contains a timestamp and a link to a previous block. By design, blockchains are inherently resistant to modification of the data — and besides the security they provide and their high availability, they're also a keen element for decentralized currencies; transactions are validated through sidechains all across the globe, ensuring the authenticity of each block at the time it was recorded.
The first blockchain was conceptualized in 2008 and implemented the following year as a core component of the digital currency bitcoin, where it serves as the public ledger for all transactions and as an inspiration to new forms of decentralized applications.
